We work hard, and have a great time doing it.
All positions are non-paid internships unless otherwise noted. You will be eligible to receive college or course credit. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. We'd be happy to train the right person.
Web Interns
Studio Kaiju, producers of Kaiju Big Battel, are seeking motivated interns to work directly with our web team. Interns will learn valuable web design, marketing, and writing skills, while helping to maintain and grow kaiju.com. Web intern responsibilities include site maintenance, content updates, and content development. Web interns will also work on long-term projects, such as redesigning sections of kaiju.com, developing new Flash games, recoding to meet web and accessibility standards, etc.
Web interns must commit to 10 hours/week, be excited to work and learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and have a strong background in HTML. XHMTL, CSS, PHP, mySQL, and Photoshop skills a plus. This position is unpaid.

Assistant Editors
Studio Kaiju seeks assistant editors to help create the next video release from Kaiju Big Battel. Assistant Editors will work directly with our video team to create commercials, live event trailers, narratives, big battels, and more. Recent projects include the Kaiju Big Battel Super Special on MTV2, the Terebi Sento DVD, and online videos for AtomFilms and Heavy.com.
Assistant editors must be quality editors who are comfortable working with material that is both comedic and action-oriented, flexible enough to work within a well-established brand, and able to commit to 15 hours/week in our studio in Cambridge, MA. Assistant editors must be able to work within a group environment and meet deadlines. We work solely in Final Cut Pro and After Effects in an all Mac office. After Effects skills are a huge bonus. This position is an unpaid internship, but an excellent opportunity to create a stellar reel and to gain valuable editing skills.

Video Production Interns
Studio Kaiju is recruiting the next wave of Kaiju video interns. Video interns contribute to the video department in numerous ways including editing, shooting, project management, After Effects, and logging footage. Video interns will work on video projects including commercials, live event trailers, online video content, and nationally distributed DVDs.
Video interns must be able to work well in a collaborative group environment, meet deadlines, and commit to at least 15 hours/week in our Cambridge, MA studio. We work solely in Final Cut Pro and After Effects. This position is unpaid, but an excellent opportunity to gain experience and build your reel.

Production Assistants
Want to learn how to make a city entirely out of foam core and glue? What you like to dabble in monster creation and repair? Are you an aspiring carpenter? Would you like to be in on the creation of the world as Kaiju sees it? If you can cut a straight line with a razor, use a screw gun, and follow directions then you might be the next Kaiju production assistant.
Production assistants must be able to spend at least 15 hours a week in our studio space in Cambridge, MA. Production assistants must also be good problem solvers with an eye for detail and the ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary group. Architectural, design, and trade backgrounds are appreciated. This position is unpaid, but an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills while working on a fun, fast-growing project.

Marketing Assistants
How does one pay the bills while producing the world's only live monster spectacle? It's an intricate art and a dangerous business, but that's what makes it so exciting. Learn the ins and outs of promotion (online/offline/street), event marketing, and public relations (fans and media), while building your contacts to merchandisers, retailers, promoters, and press nationwide.
A positive attitude, a professional work ethic, the ability to work well with people are a must. Marketing assistants are expected to spend at least 15 hours/week at our Cambridge, MA. This position is unpaid, but offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a fast-growing media company.

Office Assistants
Office assistants are the cogs that make the Big Battel machine run and Studio Kaiju is looking for the next generation of Kaiju office superstars. Office assistants will work side-by-side with the Kaiju team in a wide range of areas including promotion, production, order fulfillment, content creation, and record-keeping.
Office assistants should be organized, able to work well in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, and comfortable with spreadsheets, data entry, and Microsoft Office. Office assistants must be able to commit to 15 hours/week at our studio in Cambridge, MA. This position is an unpaid internship.

Graphic Design Interns
Studio Kaiju seeks graphic designers to help us create and extend the visual brand of Kaiju Big Battel. Graphic design interns work with our entire team to create promotional materials, commercial products, print and web ads, and online content. Learn how a visual brand is crafted, refined, and evolved, expand your skillset, and build your portfolio.
Graphic design interns must have a good eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative creative environment. Photoshop and Illustrator are required. All interns must be able to commit to 15 hours/week at our studio in Cambridge, MA. This internship is unpaid.
