Danger Strikes Back with the return of the Danger Cage! The caged combat is set to go down at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, March 29th. This all ages event is Kaiju's only scheduled New England area performance this spring. Buy your tickets in advance to ensure your place at this epic night of live monster mayhem.

Chikara Update: Losers

The Sea Amigos had seemingly worked out their differences and were ready to take on 27 other teams at CHIKARA's King of Trios Tournament when a familiar foe reared his ugly, cube-shaped head. Introduced as a special guest of UltraMantis Black, the leader of the Order of the Neo Solar Temple, a bitter Dr. Cube revealed that he would be working alongside the Sea Amigo's first round challengers. The Sea Amigos were dominating Mantis and his cronies when Cube introduced a bottle of toxic tartar sauce, which UltraMantis squirted right in the eyes of D.W. Cycloptopuss III and Unibouzu. Call-Me-Kevin tried to attend to his fallen friends but UltraMantis nailed the Kaiju Champion with his signature maneuver, the Praying Mantis Bomb, enabling The Order to advance in the tournament.

Human Monster Meat

The Kaiju Commissioner is regretful to announce that after much deliberation, he is willing to strike a deal with professional wrestler Chris Hero. If the two parties can come to terms, the Hero would be one of the first human fighters to do Battel against Kaiju's barbaric beasts. The Commissioner is anxious to get Hero under contract, before his callous attacks on Dusto Bunny and Tadd Braddley Hawaiian Paddler perpetrated at New York Blackout escalate into something far more Dangerous. Also, the Commissioner is insisting on a super-sized liability waiver that will idemnify Kaiju Big Battel, before he allows a puny human into the Danger Cage with a pack of rowdy monster. If the an agreement can be struck in time, Chris Hero will make his sanctioned Kaiju Big Battel debut at Danger Strikes Back in Providence, RI on March 29th.

Buster Challenge

Sun Buster, the former Hero Intern, has finally resolved the problem with his Hero application (it turns out that he put down Foxy Brown as a personal contact in hopes that she would perform mouth to mouth resuscitation in the case of an emergency), but he's yet to resolve any of the problems he's created with his fellow Heroes.

The helio-Hero seems particularly perturbed with Steam-Powered Tentacle Boulder, saying "Who does that pesky pebble think he is? I was picking those Scabs off like they were nothing when he ruined my match at New York Blackout. If Steam-Powered Tentacle Boulder wants a shot at the Kaiju Championship Belt, he's gotta go through me first."

While it appears that Sun Buster has more guts than brains, if he could find a way to stop the rock, it would certainly improve his standing with his colleagues.

Late Breaking Bug News

In an unexpected turn of events, it appears as if Team Space Bug will be granted a rematch for the Double Danger Tandem Titles at the upcoming Danger Strickes Back Battel. Dai Hachi Hachi has spent the last few weeks lobbying for the title shot, supposedly on behalf of Uchu Chu, admitting that if he didn't get involved in the fray at New York Blackout, the Xertoid native and his former college roommate would have defeated American Beetle and Neo Teppen for the DDT Champions. However, because Uchu Chu stormed out of Webster Hall and still hasn't been heard from, the Commissioner has decided to replace him with Dai Hachi Hachi.

Since his creepy debut, Dai Hachi Hachi's motives have always perplexed Kaiju analysts. This new development does not sit well with Yarsminko, who is torn between his loyalty to Uchu Chu and his desire to help the other members of Team Space Bug who are desperate for a win.
