Battel Commentary Blowout

The Kaiju Commissioner extends a harty thank you to all the humans and corporations that made the Escape to NY Battel a success: Sucklord, L'amour, Rockstar Games, DJ Clashious Clay, Ronald Reagan and the Webster Hall staff.

Suffice to say, the Commissioner was ecstatic about the results of Escape to NY. Why was he so happy? Read all about it in the new Escape to New York Battel Commentary. But wait - there's more! The much delayed Shpadoinkel Mania VII Commentary is also up this week. It's a Battel Commentary explosion!

Kaiju Rally

D.W. Cycloptapuss III and company will be hosting a Kaiju Big Battel rally with Rocktapussy from Chicago and resident Kaiju DJ, DJ Clashious Clay at the Middle East Upstairs in Cambridge MA on July 1st. There will also be a Battel Video installation featuring footage from the recent spring fightos plus muchu giveaways by Rockstar Games. This is an 18+ event. $8adv/$9dos.

Kaiju's latest vinyl toy, Vegetius, from esteemed Japanese toymaker Marmit will debut at the upcoming San Diego Comic-con. In addition to the debut figure, the Commissioner will release a special glow-in-the-dark SDCC variant, limited to 50 pieces. Also, look out for Kaiju's new line of 3.5 inch figures from ilanena. The debut three pack features, The Grudyin, Cycloptapuss, and Steam Powered Tentacle Boulder.

Kaiju Seeks New Web Wrangler

Kaiju Big Battel's longtime web wrangler is very tired and is seeking a responsible, motivated designer to handle the day-to-day business of the Kaiju website. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Battel team, and work with a dynamic and creative Studio Kaiju staff. The perfect candidate is a wiz at HTML and CSS, has a designer's eye, and loves the Big Battel. PHP is a plus, but not required. Compensation is meagar, but the creative rewards are substantial. New web wranglers will have an opportuntity to explore new creative directions for kaiju.com, and craft the online presence for the universe's premier monster Batteling organization.
