One Grateful Guru

In the spirit of the holidays, sage hare Dusto Bunny has asked kaiju.com to share the following message, concerning his lackluster performance at the recent More Better Fighto Battel:

"As an athlete, as a performer, and as a Hero, my personal life is often the center of widespread discussion. As a result, when an opponent finds out I am suffering from a staphylococcus aureus infection, they immediately have the upper hand going into the fighto. Now, the severity of my injury was never disclosed publicly, but I confided in one of my closest friends at Kaiju that I was in no condition to compete. Still, I represent the Heroes and backing down from this Battel would have been a victory for the unruly. That is why I chose to fight. During the fighto, however, my opponent could not resist getting his partner involved, even though he already had an advantage. My friend came to my aid, and even if I lost the match, it was still a victory for Kaiju Heroes. Powa Ranjuru, I want to openly thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are a true friend." -Dusto Bunny

Respond for Unrelated DVD Chance

So check it out. There's this band, right? They call themselves Peelander-Z. Pretty wild, huh? And they've got this DVD. "Peelander is Fun" or something rather. Well we've got it too and it rules. There's over an hour of footage of a live show, three music videos including one featuring Kaiju Big Battel, and over thirty minutes of bonus stuff. But we don't know much about the band, so tell me something interesting about them and the DVD is yours. Photographic evidence will help. You've got two weeks to e-mail this info to contests@kaiju.com and then we'll pick a winner. They call this a contest.

A Boulder To Lean On

After defeating two opponents on his debut night, Steam-Powered Tentacle Boulder is on a roll, but his motives have a few Kaiju Heroes worried. "With everything that's been going on in Kaiju lately - the treachery, the murders, and the constant pressure from Dr. Cube - we really need a Hero we can depend on," said American Beetle, one half of the Double Danger Champions. "That's right!" Neo Teppen went on to say. "And Boulder can be that Hero... if he wants to. His immediate priorities are selfish but he has a long-term responsibility to protect the innocent." When SPTB was contacted for comments on the situation, he had the following to say: "Those two rainbow munches are shook. They just down 'cause I took out two punks in one night. And I could take out two at a time if I had to. You smellin' what I'm steppin' in?!"

Call Me, K?

Call-Me-Kevin pulled a sunken treasure up from the briny depths of his soul when he did the impossible and won the Kaiju Championship Belt at the More Better Fighto Big Battel. Now the crustacean champion is set to launch an over-the-phone motivational speaking service to help others find that "special something" that lies deep within. Every tragic Tom, doomed Dick, or hapless Harry will have his day to shine after a series of extensive exchanges with the champ. Sadly, this service will be delayed for a few more weeks as CMK's lawyers are currently battling for the rights to 1-800-365-3846 (1-800-CM-Kevin) which at this time redirects to "live talk with exciting people."

Deadly Dialogue

The sanguine scene where the Zombie Plantain split open Silver Potato has sparked an investigation by the Kaiju Regulatory Commission. At their behest, the Kaiju Commissioner has assembled a team of interpretive experts to find out exactly what Pablo said before he tore apart Potato. One theory suggests that the Fallen Fruit muttered "the Warsaw," the location of the More Better Fighto event where the traitor 'Tater was killed. Some believe he said "Que Pasa," mockingly greeting the break dancer that did him in. Another report speculated that the confused Zombie mumbled "Team Awesome" and that he is forming an all undead faction in Kaiju. Finally, word on the street is that Pablo incoherently spoke the phrase "King Lasso" which might suggest what he did with the Shiny Spud's innards after the camera cut away.
