Kaiju Set to Enter Third Dimension in Brooklyn!

You've waited patiently, you've begged and pleaded, you've threatened us with incriminating photos, you even wondered aloud why we didn't have an update on Monday, but finally, on April 3rd, you will get what you have asked for. Kaiju Big Battel is happy to announce our next Battel, Kaiju in 3-D, live at the Warsaw in Brooklyn, NY!

Kaiju in 3-D*

When: Fri, April 3rd, 8:00 PM
Where: Warsaw at the Polish National Home, 261 Driggs Ave, Brooklyn, NY
Tickets: Stay tuned for more info!

The Warsaw is arguably the most hallowed ground in Kaiju Big Battel history, at least, out of the buildings we've left standing. Some of the most outrageous Kaiju moments ever have happened in the Warsaw, and while live monster wrestling isn't scripted or fake like professional wrestling, we're still pretty comfortable telling you to expect the unexpected whenever Kaiju Big Battel invades the Warsaw.

What's the main event gonna be? Who's challenging the Furious Furries? Who will be billed to appear, then no-show at the last minute and be replaced by a special surprise? We hope to answer some of these questions in the next few weeks here on Kaiju.com, but the only way to know for sure is to buy a ticket and check us out live!

Cube Unveils Posse Tandems

As we approach the kickoff of our March Monster Madness Double-Danger Tandem Tournament, we know five of the nine teams scheduled to participate, as the representatives of the Rogues and Team Space Bug were announced in the last few weeks. This week, we're faced with two interesting selections; Dr. Cube's Posse. As you know, the Furious Furries are the current Double Danger Tandem Champions, but those same Furries are also under the umbrella of Dr. Cube.

This week, Cube has submitted his two teams, but the question remains; what if one of those two teams wins the Tournament? Surely, Dr. Cube will be happy to keep the Tandem Title in his Posse, but how will he feel about his teams being pitted against each other? And if he demands one team to lay down for the other, will it bruise some monster egos?

Anyway, exciting scenarios aside, let's get to the teams. The first duo in the tournament is the team of Gomi Man and Shrooma Tango. These two giants are a sight to be seen, but their smell might be even worse. They're going to be facing the as-of-yet unannounced Kaiju Hero team, which may be trouble for even Cube's toughest monsters. The second tandem has a much easier path to the second round, as the team of Marutambo and Super Minion #666 will be going 2-on-1 against the hapless excommunicated Space Bug Dai Hachi Hachi. Stay tuned to Kaiju.com, because if you look at the bracket, there's still one faction waiting to be announced!

Sun Buster Discovers New Body Wash

Kaiju Hero Sun Buster has found himself in the shower much more often lately, thanks to a new organic body wash he discovered last week. Buster, who previously complained of dry, brittle skin, has become the unofficial pitchman of "Natural Moisture Detergent of Great Cleanliness", which he says he discovered in a small pharmacy in Chinatown, New York.

"It's made in Japan, but I found it in Chinatown," said Sun Buster. "It was one of those weird pharmacies where they have the little twigs and sticks in the cardboard boxes out front, but they have crazy names like 'Ginko Balboa' and stuff. Anyway, I was just looking for a bathroom I could use, but I saw this body wash on the rack, and I had to try it. Or at least, I think it's body wash. I really, really hope it is." Sun Buster admits to taking at least three showers a day now.

Boulder Upset Over Oscar Snub

Steam Powered Tentacle Boulder, star of last fall's "Chicago Taxi", has lashed out at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for being snubbed for the Best Actor Oscar at Sunday's Academy Awards. "Chicago Taxi", a whimsical comedy about a rag-tag group of cab drivers in the streets of Chicago, grossed only $18 worldwide and was filmed shortly before Boulder's injury last summer. But Boulder feels his performance, which wasn't even nominated for the award, was at least better than that of Brad Pitt in "The Curious Tale of Benjamin Button", whom Boulder says was just "Brad Pitt with some old-man makeup playing Brad Pitt."
